The Big Picture
Building a Movement of Christ-Centered Education
Salt & Light Academy began with a simple yet bold conviction: education is one of the greatest mission fields of our time—and the Church is called to reclaim it.
Every day, more than 54 million American students walk into classrooms where God’s truth is often silenced. For too long, the Church has stood on the sidelines of education — but it doesn’t have to.
We believe the Church can rise again to shape hearts and minds through tuition-free, Christ-centered schools that are open to every family in the community.
Salt & Light Academy exists as the proof of what’s possible: a living model of how faith and excellence, can reclaim education without government dependence or tuition barriers.
And this is only the beginning. What God started here is more than one school — it’s the beginning of a nationwide movement to awaken churches, equip leaders, and reach the next generation for Christ.
Phase I
Launch: Using What We Have
We began right here in our church building, transforming existing rooms into classrooms and opening our doors tuition-free.
These spaces may be humble, but they represent a powerful truth: when God calls His people to act, we move forward with what He’s already provided.
Salt & Light Academy launched K–6 in 2024 and is now entering its second year, expanding to K–8 and impacting families across our community.
Phase II
Expansion: Building the Proof
In this next phase, will continue to expand beyond our church walls using the property to continue to expand into the middle and high school grades.
This phase isn’t just about space—it’s about proof. We want to demonstrate that a church can grow a tuition-free, Christ-centered school step by step, using what God has already placed in its hands.
As we expand to serve more students, we’re showing other churches what’s possible when faith and action come together: you can do this too.
Phase III
Foundation: Building for Generations
Our 72-acre campus holds incredible potential. In this phase, we will build a stand-alone K–12 facility designed to house up to 1,200 students—complete with classrooms, a gymnasium, an auditorium, and a greenhouse.
This is more than expansion—it’s demonstration. Phase III shows what can happen when the Church fully embraces education as mission. It proves that a school built on faith, excellence, and generosity can grow to serve thousands, remain debt-free, and change a community from the inside out.
For larger churches and partners, this phase stands as a model worth multiplying and a mission worth investing in—a blueprint for what’s possible when God’s people think generationally.
Phase IV
Multiplication: Igniting a National Movement
Our vision doesn’t end with one school—it begins there.
Phase IV is about multiplication. We are establishing a foundation to equip, resource, and partner with churches across America to launch their own tuition-free, Christ-centered schools.
This movement will help congregations of every size see that they can do it too—using the space, people, and faith they already have.
Together, we can reclaim education as mission, reach millions of students with the truth of Christ, and prove once again that the gates of hell will not prevail against a united and faithful Church.

Operating as a mission arm of Salt & Light Church, Salt & Light Academy uses a classically based curriculum guided by a philosophy known as the Principle Approach™—the method of education used in early America for more than a century.
